Robyn Markey is an artist based in the picturesque New England region of NSW, Australia. Her passion for nature is evident in her stunning paintings that showcase the vibrant colours and diverse textures found in nature. With a keen eye for detail and a unique perspective, Robyn blends traditional techniques with a modern edge to create high-quality, luminous oil paintings that radiate joy and tranquillity.

Specialising in still life and floral subjects, Robyn’s work captures the essence of ripe fruit, intricate textiles, interesting crockery, and elegant flowers. Her use of multiple layers of paint and glazes allows her to convey the beauty and complexity of these subjects in a timeless and contemporary manner. She has held several solo and group exhibitions and this year won the Armidale Art Prize for painting. Most recently she was a finalist in the Fairholme Open Art Prize. Her work is held in collections throughout Australia and overseas.
