Meg is a landscape and botanical still life artist and paints from her home studio in Brisbane, surrounded by the bush and garden. She has always been passionate about painting and took it up more seriously in late 2021 and she is so excited to be sharing something that brings her so much joy!

Meg Frances is a self-taught artist and paints still life arrangements of things found in her garden - native flowers and fruits paired with interesting ceramics and fabrics. She also paints landscapes inspired by rural Australia. Meg paints with acrylic on canvas and layer colours, often painting thickly, to create dimension and texture.

Whilst she still teaches part-time at her kids' school, she has been lucky enough to exhibit and sell her work through various art shows, a number of galleries and various stockists, as well as commissions.
